Multi-chamber system for improved thermal efficiency without compromising on structural capability with the use of larger reinforcement chambers.

The TOTAL70C system is available with a co-extruded profile made up of 75% post-consumer waste and boasts severe weather performance credentials and unparalleled technical, thermal and noise reduction efficiency.

Vast range of styles including french windows, tilt & turn, bay/bow windows and a large range of door options including residential and french doors.

REHAU TOTAL70 windows will comply with Part L Building Regulations, providing the correct glazing unit is used. This requirement is an overall U value of 1.6 W/m2K. REHAU TOTAL70 can achieve U values of 0.8 W/m2K using triple glazed Argon sealed units.

U-Value

A U-value is the rate of heat loss over a surface or material, measured in W/m2K. You will want windows that have a low rate of heat loss, so the lower the U-value, the more efficient the windows.

Old windows, whether single or double glazed, are often poorly insulated, resulting in high U-values and low thermal efficiency. Old single-glazed windows can have U-values of around 5.8 W/m2K, and older double-glazed windows can be around 2.8.

In 2002, it was decided that windows had to comply with Building Regulations, meaning all replacement windows had to have a minimum U-value of 1.6 W/m2k.
